Since according to a new research in consciousness there is no primacy of mind or that of matter rather both are aspects of the same fundamental process, we deny top down control of brain by mind & bottom up production of mind from brain. We argue that neuro cognitive network is continuously evolving with changing inputs from brain & mind, so there is no spiritual evolution vs material evolution rather a more fundamental process leads to spiritual & material evolution simultaneously except the differences depending on the circuitry, focus & choice of the cognitive system.
Every cognitive system will develop differently; will desire for material as well as spiritual evolution side by side in different ratio; & will create different values, ideas & ideals etc depending on the changing circumstances & the complexity of interaction of external information with the type of system e.g. an infant starts seeing the world in first few days but the understanding of mathematical reality develops only when brain develops capability to process complex information. THIS MEANS THAT WE SHOULD NOT TREAT SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION DISCONNECTED FROM BRAIN OR AS A LINEAR PROCESS OF EMERGING SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE FROM OBJECTIVE NEURONAL PROCESSES, RATHER CONTENTS OF SPIRITUALITY AS WELL AS MATERIAL INPUTS CAN BE USED IN A GREAT WAY FOR BETTER DEVELOPMENT OF NEURO-COGNITIVE NETWORK SINCE CONCEPTION.
Since mind is continuously evolving with associated neuro-cognitive network & since material world & spiritual world are founded in the same evolutionary processes, we focus on CEEVOLUTION as a more fundamental value framework than remaining tied with mind vs matter centric ideals & value frameworks. CEEVOLUTION means Creative, Economically productive & Enlightening EVOLUTION.
